Our Hope by Ángel Sánchez (In2, 2008-2009)

Last January 20th Barak Obama was proclaimed President of United States of America. It is a fact that this is a crucial moment in the history of this country and in the rest of the world.

After many years with white Presidents, a black one is going to occupy the WHITE HOUSE. It is an important step as it is an opportunity to join different thoughts, beliefs, and wishes. Maybe, when time passes we can realise he was wrong but we have to give him the opportunity to try.

In his speech, he passed on confidence that everybody can be close to the United States. More than a change, it is a chance to work all together. To solve the different armed conflicts, fight against the economic crisis and establish the peace in all of the countries, respecting their beliefs and religions. We shouldn't expect from him the solution to poverty and hunger but he has sent a message which says "come on, we can do it better putting aside our differences."
