English - Students' Corner - Guest Speakers - Trinidad & Tobago

Back to Speaking/Listening Activities! Back to Speaking/Listening Activities

On December the 21st, Alan Cooper (Guest Speaker) and M. Rocío López (Avanzado 2) gave an Oral Presentation in the format of a TV show interview on Alan's country, "Trinidad and Tobago." Watch the videos and learn about Trinidad and Tobago. Alan's explanations were absolutely interesting and entertaining -- even funny! And then Alan and Rocío sang a Calypso song. Don't miss it!

After his experience learning Spanish in his country and over here, Alan's advice to you all, lifelong language learners is, Listen to all kinds of accents
- you want to be able to communicate with all kinds of people!
