An Informal Letter by Virginia Cuadrado Ramos (Av2 Mon, 2009-10) - About 250 words
Hi, Sue!
I'm sorry, I haven't written for ages but I've been very busy these last days.
Thanks a lot for the photos of our holidays in Lanzarote – how suntanned we are!
Now, the winter and the cold are coming... What a pity!
Well, I've got to tell you some interesting news about my new life.
For the last two months, Peter and I have been looking for a house to live together and we have just found it! We're going to live in a rented flat in the centre of Getafe, so I hope you can be my first guest.
We've been measuring it all and looking for furniture because the house is empty. It's cheaper than a furnished one. Now you can understand why I'm so tied up!
I'm very nervous and stressed. We've visited a lot of shops and we're doing the numbers. How expensive the sofas are! I take presents from everyone... ha ha!
The building is new construction. We're on the second floor. The flat has got two rooms, a spacious living room with a balcony, a little bathroom with a bath, a furnished kitchen and a place in the parking garage. Well, it's better that you come to check for yourself.
And what about your new job in the Italian restaurant? Is there any fresh gossip about that guy…? Write me something right now!
Well, I hope everything is alright.
I'm dying to hear from you.
Best wishes,
