Firstly I would like to congratulate you for your strength and courage for holding a hunger strike to save animals in Getafe.

I read your article "La defensora de los perros" in El País on May 6, and I was amazed by the great work you have been doing for last 17 years in Getafe, taking care of many homeless dogs and cats and developing the re-homing project. Unfortunately, the article did not say anything about why the Town Council of Getafe decided to change its policies and allow Vetmovil, the new company, to kill the 66% of the animals in the Animal Shelter.

Fortunately, your voice has been listened to by numerous people and the Town Council and Seprona are now investigating whether Vetmovil is taking advantage of this murder or not.

Finally, I would like to warmly encourage to go on with your struggle, and I hope you can be in charge of the pet shelter again.
