I'm going to describe the statue of El Angel Caído — that's The Fallen Angel in English.

This statue was created in 1877 by Ricardo Bellver and it was placed in the Retiro Park in Madrid. Today it is in the same place.

This is the only statue in the world of The Devil. The fallen angel was a devil expelled from Paradise.

El Angel Caído was placed in a fountain, with open wings and a snake around his body.

The sculptor, Ricardo Bellver, was born in Madrid but this statue was sculpted in Rome.

This is an interesting story.
